    Sammanfattning : The intention of this analysis has been to investigate how two missing 12-year old boys, Dante and Mahmoud, and their disappearance are portrayed in news articles in the four largest daily newspapers in Sweden; Aftonbladet, Expressen, Dagens Nyheter and Svenska Dagbladet. As media can have an enormous impact on people’s perception of certain situations, this paper’s aim is to analyse the media discourse and offer an explanation for why it might look as it does, what the causes are and what effects could be.
