    Sammanfattning : The aim of this study is to see which male norms and ideals are expressed in four selected books for children aged 9–12. Is it just a stereotyped ideal that is represented in the books or can others be found as well? The method used for the analysis is critical discourse analysis, proceeding from a gender perspective.
