    Sammanfattning : Ringtones are a common distracting sound in modern workspaces. In an earlierexperiment, ringtones increasing in volume (looming) produced greater attentional capture effectin the context of serial short-term memory, than ringtones with sudden onsets that decreased involume (receding).
