    Sammanfattning : This paper investigates the distribution of the tax burden of the value added tax, VAT, in Switzerland.     Sammanfattning : Incumbent politicians care about being re-elected; this paper presents an analysis of election-oriented fiscal policy outcomes that result from this desire. By making use of a self-compiled dataset of public opinion polling data covering three decades in OECD countries we find that electoral competition affects the composition of spending. LÄS MER
