   Sammanfattning : In this thesis the properties of planar metal-gadolinium nitride-metal junctions have been studied with the aim of establishing ohmic and Schottky contacts to thin polycrystalline films of n-type gadolinium nitride (GdN).    Sammanfattning : The interaction between thin jets of water and soap films have been studied. The experiments conducted for this thesis are the first done on jet - soap film interaction with different liquids in the two components.
