    Sammanfattning : The purpose of this thesis is to demonstrate linear-scaling, energy stable, propagation of the electronic degrees of freedom in finite temperature ExtendedLagrangian Born-Oppenheimer Molecular Dynamics for reactive systems in aself-consistent charge density-functional tight-binding formulation.
