   Sammanfattning : Located on the island of Gotland, Sweden, the File Hajdar limestone quarry is an important locality for domestic cement production. With depositional settings generally related to shallow sea carbonate ramps, the lithologies encountered on File Hajdar range from reef-associated limestone units to more basinal deposition of marls.    Sammanfattning : Abstract: On the north–eastern part of Gotland, in Slite, a mapping method has been tested in the Silurian bed-rock. The aim of the study was to develop a new mapping method adapted for industrial purposes on behalf of Ce-menta AB.
