1. Measuring copper abundances in the Galactic Bulge
Kandidat-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Astrofysik; Lunds universitet/Fysiska institutionenSammanfattning : Context: The chemical evolution of Cu in the Galactic bulge have been studied in a few studies using red giant branch stars, but the ages of individual red giant stars are difficult to determine. In addition, the bulge has been a challenging region of the Milky Way galaxy to obtain high-resolution spectra of stars, except when observing through certain few small fields into the bulge that are known to have low extinction. 2. A scoping review and bibliometric analysis on juvenile fire setting behaviour
Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Avdelningen för BrandteknikSammanfattning : The purpose of this review was to examine and analyse existing scientific literature on juvenile fire setting behaviour and to provide suggestions for future research. The PRISMA (Transparent Reporting of Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analysis) framework was used to search and collect relevant literature. LÄS MER
3. Combustibility study of resin for warm magnet coils used at CERN
Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Avdelningen för BrandteknikSammanfattning : CERN is the world's largest particle physics laboratory, housing multiple accelerators that rely heavily on magnetic coils. These coils are integral to the generation of powerful magnetic fields essential for particle accelerator experiments, detectors, and other equipment. LÄS MER
4. Wildfire growth modelling in Sweden - a suitability assessment of available data
Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Institutionen för naturgeografi och ekosystemvetenskapSammanfattning : Wildfires are worldwide problems that stress societies by damaging their economies and they cause serious, sometimes fatal, health implications among the populations. In recent years, the rate of wildfire occurrence has increased as the global average temperature has risen. Because of global climate change, this rate is expected to continue rising. LÄS MER
5. Discharge and Flame Chemistry in Lithium-Ion Battery Vent Gases : Investigations using Breakdown Experiments with Laser-Based Diagnostics
Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Förbränningsfysik; Lunds universitet/Fysiska institutionenSammanfattning : Due to the environmental impact of fossil fuels, there has been a growing interest in lithium-ion batteries for electric vehicles. However, safety concerns have arisen regarding potential fire hazards associated with the vent gases of these batteries. LÄS MER
