    Sammanfattning : The exhibition medium, despite being regarded as one of the world's oldest mediums, has attracted little interest from Museology research. In this thesis, we approach the subject by writing a piece of exhibition history, or rather exhibition archaeology, regarding the prehistory exhibition Fornsalen at Malmö Museer from 1978 as a time document.
