Master-uppsats, Göteborgs universitet/Graduate SchoolSammanfattning : Second-hand fashion has emerged as a more sustainable way of shopping, promoting the circular economy while offering unique styles for a cheaper price. Although consumers generally express a willingness to adopt a more sustainable fashion consumption, this is not mirrored in their actual engagement in second-hand fashion shopping. LÄS MER
2. Environmental Testing of Large Components
Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för industriell teknik och management (ITM)Sammanfattning : As the industry is being reshaped concentrically around sustainability, the consumption of fossil fuels is targeted to decrease day by day. As a consequence of that, a righteous rise of electricity as energy source prevails in different branches of industry. LÄS MER
3. Feasibility of HALEU-loaded Breed-and-Burn Molten Salt Fast Reactor without Online Actinide Treatment
Master-uppsats, KTH/FysikSammanfattning : Molten Salt Fast Reactors (MSFRs) have prominent advantages such as fuel breeding, nuclear waste transmutation, and inherent safety. They are the only liquid-fueled nuclear reactors currently receiving significant attention as fourth-generation advanced nuclear systems. LÄS MER
4. Spent Nuclear Fuel under Repository Conditions : Update and Expansion of Database and Development of Machine Learning Models
5. Trace element leaching from alum shale fines and red ash from Kvarntorp during a large column test
Kandidat-uppsats, Örebro universitet/Institutionen för naturvetenskap och teknikSammanfattning : Fuel shortage during the Second World War led to oil production in Kvarntorp, Kumla during 1942-1966 by pyrolyzing alum shale rich in pyrite, FeS2, and organic material such as kerogen. This production has led to a lot of waste laying deposited out in the open after the mining closed and has had negative environmental impact in the form of ongoing weathering and leaching of acidic water and leaching of trace elements into its surroundings.
