1. Hur gjorde Galileo?
2. Capture into mean motion resonance
Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Astronomi - Genomgår omorganisationSammanfattning : Orbital or mean motion resonance (MMR) occurs when the orbital period ratio between two planets is close to a ratio of small integers. MMR can protect planets from collisions and affects the overall final architecture of the system. LÄS MER
3. Evolution and Differentiation of Large Icy Moons
Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Astronomi - Genomgår omorganisationSammanfattning : Purpose: In preparation of several future missions with the objective to research the large icy moons of the Solar System, it is necessary to have a cohesive understanding of the conditions that might lead to the formation of liquid oceans in these moons. The purpose of this work is to create a numerical model for simulating the temperature evolution of the cores of large icy moons. LÄS MER
4. Fast-forward the Sedimentation of Solid Particles in Protoplanetary Disks
Kandidat-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Astronomi - Genomgår omorganisationSammanfattning : Numerical simulations have become an essential tool for studying particle-gas systems. One such system is the protoplanetary disk consisting of vast number of solid particles interacting with the surrounding gas. LÄS MER
5. Tingens lydnad och människans väntan : Nödvändighet, nåd, handling och tänkande i Simone Weils filosofi
Kandidat-uppsats, Södertörns högskola/FilosofiSammanfattning : This bachelor thesis engages in a quest to understand the concepts of necessity and grace in Simone Weils thinking. The question in play, in which many more questions lie hidden, reads as follows: How does Weil understand the operations of grace in relation to the ”blind necessity” of the natural world, and what are the philosophical implications of this concept of grace? What are, for instance, given her understanding of the world as God’s creation, the metaphysical grounds for a basic human activitiy such as thinking or reflexion? A reading of Simone Weils works on necessity, grace, affliction and attention is contrasted with her thoughts on science, method and truth. LÄS MER
