    Sammanfattning : The central concern of this thesis is to describe the views of the young men in Feridun Zaimoglus book Kanak Sprak (2000) on their own identity ("Kanaken"), on the identity of other foreigners such as (college "Ali") and the Germans ("Alemannen") with help of close-reading.
