Sammanfattning : Navigating an in-car infotainment system by using gesture-control can be distracting, drivers usually seek for confirmation from the infotainment system by rapidly glancing at the screen and therefore reduce the eyes-on-the-road time, this can be dangerous. This study aims to evaluate whether if by applying both visual and auditory feedback from the infotainment system can reduce the distraction. LÄS MER

Sammanfattning : Measuring the radar response has proven to be a valid input for neural networks used for gesture and motion recognition. Previous work have been based on measuring the radar response of hand gestures, but it has been shown that models based on the analytic expressions for basic objects are useful when simulating larger motions, such as pedestrians. Sammanfattning : Haptical technology is a field that is under constant development and that exists in many of today’s products, for example in VR-games and in the controls for vehicles. This kind of technology could in the same way simplify for disabled people by their being able to control a wheelchair using hand gestures. LÄS MER

Sammanfattning : The research field of robotic prosthetic hands have expanded immensely in the last couple of decades and prostheses are in more commercial use than ever. Classification of hand gestures using sensory data from electromyographic signals in the forearm are primary for any advanced prosthetic hand. LÄS MER
