    Sammanfattning : Aircraft observations of precipitating clouds with cloud top temperatures higher than -38°C have revealed that Secondary Ice Production (SIP) is responsible for presence of majority of ice particles.     Sammanfattning : The observed and well-known discrepancy between concentrations of ice nucleating particles in the environment and the concentrations of ice particles in clouds show that there are additional ‘secondary’ processes enhancing the concentrations of ice particles.     Sammanfattning : In this paper a simulation of a convective cell of a thunderstorm system observed 19th of June 2000 during the Severe Thunderstorm Electrification and Precipitation Study (STEPS) field campaign is being analysed.     Sammanfattning : In August 2014, parts of south-western Sweden were flooded due to intense precipitation. It caused large material damages and problems in the infrastructure.
