   Sammanfattning : This is a qualitative study and the aim and purpose of this thesis is to problematise authorities and fashion companies’ objectives and strategies for ecological sustainable fashion. The discussion is based on two questions: Which strategies and objectives do fashion companies and public authorities use for ecological sustainable fashion? Are there any divergence between fashion companies and public authority’s strategies and objectives for ecological sustainable fashion? The thesis is based on empirical material from H&M, Nudie and Filippa K sustainability reports and websites and the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency, the Swedish Chemicals Agency and the Swedish Consumer Agency reports and websites.
