  1. 1. Grafisk återgivning av radardetektion av flygplan : Utveckling av ett grafiskt användargränssnitt för PCL- och ADS-B-system

    Kandidat-uppsats, KTH/Hälsoinformatik och logistik

    Författare :Alice Jansson; [2024]
    Nyckelord :GUI; Graphical user interface; PCL; Passive Coherent Location; ADS-B; HCI; Human-computer Interaction; Electronic warfare; Grafiskt användargränssnitt; MMI; Människa-maskin-interaktion; PCL; Passiv radar; ADS-B; Ljudkrig;

    Sammanfattning : Passive Coherent Location (PCL), eller Passiv Radar som det populärt kallas, är enteknologi inom radarlära som innefattar radartyper som inte själva skickar ut elektromagnetiska vågor för att finna och undersöka ett mål. Istället använder sig dessa radartyper av befintliga signaler, såsom radio- och TV-sändningar för att detektera mål. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Evaluating the user experience of a learning management system : – to improve usability

    Master-uppsats, Linköpings universitet/Institutionen för datavetenskap

    Författare :Johanna Gerhardsen; [2023]
    Nyckelord :;

    Sammanfattning : This master’s thesis evaluates the usability of an internal learning management system (LMS) in cooperation with the industrial organization Atlas Copco. As e-learning gains increasing prominence as a central tool for competence development within organizations, the seamless usability of LMSs plays a vital role in enhancing the employee experience. 3. 3. Spatiotemporal Selves on a Location-Based Social Network : A Postphenomenological Autoethnography of Snap Map

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)

    Författare :Adam Särnell; [2023]
    Nyckelord :postphenomenology; autoethnography; spatiotemporality; performativity; location-based social networks; postfenomenologi; autoetnografi; spatiotemporalitet; performativitet; platsbaserade sociala nätverk;

    Sammanfattning : The location-based social network (LBSN) Snapchat allows millions of users to share their locations to others through Snap Map: a digital map that updates their position each time they open the app. While social science studies have explored sentiments, behaviors and norms among Snap Map users, there is limited research on this type of location-based social network in the field of human-computer interaction (HCI), indicating a need for expanding the understanding of the roles that this technology and its design play in shaping the experiences and interactions among users. 4. 4. Evaluation and Redesign of a Web Interface using Usability Heuristic Principles

    Kandidat-uppsats, Blekinge Tekniska Högskola/Institutionen för datavetenskap

    Författare :Sri Harsha Namburu; Venkata Vamsi Krishna Teeparthi; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Heuristic evaluation; HCI design principles; Redesign; Survey evaluation.;

    Sammanfattning : The main aim of this thesis project is to select and redesign a website which was originally designed without using the HCI design principles. The website “Atari best electronics” (https://www.best-electronics-ca.com/) was chosen and evaluated using usability heuristics. LÄS MER

  5. 5. Unleashing the Awareness of Sustainable Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) Among Youth: : Bridging the Knowledge Gap and EmpoweringFuture Sustainable Designers

    Kandidat-uppsats, Jönköping University/JTH, Avdelningen för datateknik och informatik

    Författare :Mariam Basyouny; Aleksandra Männik; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Sustainable HCI; Sustainable Interaction Design; Digital Technology; Digital Carbon Footprint; Digital Sustainability; Eco-feedback Technology; Young Designers; Digital Design.;

    Sammanfattning : This research paper aims to explore the knowledge gap among young designers in relation to sustainable human-computer interaction (HCI), focusing on Interaction Design, and investigating the necessary resources for designing sustainable HCI. Lack of knowledge among young designers regarding sustainable practices in digital design contributes to the overconsumption of energy, and increased carbon emissions, highlighting the need to raise awareness and bridge the knowledge gap in Sustainable Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) design among youth.
