  1. 1. 3D/VR - Data flow visualization

    Master-uppsats, Uppsala universitet/Institutionen för informationsteknologi

    Författare :Sudheer Sujay; [2024]
    Nyckelord :;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis delves into the realm of Virtual Reality (VR) to explore its potential for visualizing data flows in intricate systems. Focused on the transition from conventional 2D representations to immersive 3D experiences, the study employs Unity and Oculus Quest 2 for prototyping. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Grafisk återgivning av radardetektion av flygplan : Utveckling av ett grafiskt användargränssnitt för PCL- och ADS-B-system

    Kandidat-uppsats, KTH/Hälsoinformatik och logistik

    Författare :Alice Jansson; [2024]
    Nyckelord :GUI; Graphical user interface; PCL; Passive Coherent Location; ADS-B; HCI; Human-computer Interaction; Electronic warfare; Grafiskt användargränssnitt; MMI; Människa-maskin-interaktion; PCL; Passiv radar; ADS-B; Ljudkrig;

    Sammanfattning : Passive Coherent Location (PCL), eller Passiv Radar som det populärt kallas, är enteknologi inom radarlära som innefattar radartyper som inte själva skickar ut elektromagnetiska vågor för att finna och undersöka ett mål. Istället använder sig dessa radartyper av befintliga signaler, såsom radio- och TV-sändningar för att detektera mål. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Linking for Peace. An affordance perspective of LinkedIn as an instrument for peace professionals to advance constructive conflict resolution and transformative efforts

    Master-uppsats, Institutionen för tillämpad informationsteknologi

    Författare :Jasmine Traore; [2023-11-22]
    Nyckelord :Affordances; Human Computer Interaction HCI ; Peace and Conflict Research;

    Sammanfattning : Has LinkedIn become the platform for a global community of practice for peace professionals? Does it have the potential to be? An inductive approach to Reflexive Thematic Analysis (RTA) following Braun and Clarke’s six-phase methodology was used as an analytic instrument on empirical data from 13 semi-structured interviews with professionals in peace mediation, using the theoretical lens of affordances. The participants in the study were found to use LinkedIn to create and sustain meaningful connections globally and across sectors, learn from empirical knowledge, stories and insights from others and explore economic opportunities. 4. 4. Reflections on One’s Own Body : An Approach to the Potential of Self-Image in HCI

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)

    Författare :Rebeca Blanco Cardozo; [2023]
    Nyckelord :soma design; first-person perspective; self-image; embodied interaction; self-fashioning technologies; soma design; förstapersonsperspektiv; självbild; förkroppsligad interaktion; self-fashioning teknik;

    Sammanfattning : Self-image and the way we present ourselves to the world are highly relevant in today’s society, fostered to some extent by the ubiquitous use of technology. For example, the idealized body image that is disseminated in the media and on social networks can affect the relationship we have with ourselves. LÄS MER

  5. 5. Designing for the Distracted : A User-Centered Approach to Explore and Act on the User Experiences of People with Short Attention Spans

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)

    Författare :Matilda Rydén; [2023]
    Nyckelord :User-centered design; Attention span; User experience; Participatory design; Autobiographical design; Exploratory design; Workshops; Användarcentrerad design; Uppmärksamhetspann; Användarupplevelse; Deltagande design; Självbiografisk design; Utforskande design; Workshops;

    Sammanfattning : Short attention spans are a growing phenomenon, impacting users in their daily interactions with technology. While there have been studies in the field of HCI on how to design for directing or maximizing user attention, few have focused on users with short attention spans and their felt experiences. LÄS MER
