    Sammanfattning : This paper responds to the call for further research into management control mechanisms (MCMs) used in inter-organizational relationships between private equity (PE) firms and portfolio companies (PCs). Drawing on a cross-sectional field study consisting of 10 PC CEOs of a large Nordic PE firm, this paper investigates how PC CEOs use inter- organizational MCMs to achieve a functional alignment between the different parties' institutional logics.     Sammanfattning : We find that the effects of interest risk factors on US banks' stock returns are affected by banks' size, measured by market equity values, and income structures, measured by the ratios of interest income and interest expense.     Sammanfattning : This master thesis investigates the influence of both executive pay and female representation in top management on firm performance. As recent trends in both pay-performance sensitivities and women in executive positions suggest a positive relationship of firm performance with both executive pay and female representation in top management, a nine-year panel data regression is run on the S&P 500 companies to study the potential effects of both CEOs' pay and the presence of female CEOs on corporate performance in the time frame 2010-2018.     Sammanfattning : This paper examines accounting and organizational change process and its institutional background by conducting a case study of the implementation process of a simplified Time-Driven Activity-Based Costing system in a Swedish Healthcare Region. Using a framework adapted from Zbaracki (1998), separating reality and rhetoric along a process-view, the paper examines how institutional forces enter the implementation process and how the arising tensions are managed along the process.
