Baxter Krugers teologiska ståndpunkt i hans bok ‘Jesus and the Undoing of Adam’ som den vetenskapliga utgångspunkten för min analys ger jag mig i kast med ett tidlöst ämne som ställer mig i en mångtusenårig tradition.     Sammanfattning : From the perspective that it is one and the same picture that is changing, this essay includes semiotic analyses of Lynn Curlee´s painting Smoking angels, made in 1979, the photograph from 1928 wich inspired the artist, as well as Black Sabbath´s album cover Heaven and Hell, that was first released in 1980. Although the forms of the pictures are different the motif is quite the same, yet, what the pictures convey is different. LÄS MER

By not focusing on motives or causes behind the change, but instead illustrating the subjective and social consequences, the study provides a deeper understanding of how the individual's self-perception and social relationships are affected. La poétique de l’Espace (Rummets poetik) (1958) av Gaston Bachelard används för att undersöka vad det innebär för karaktärerna i dessa verk att bebo en plats i allmänhet, och ett hem i upplösning i synnerhet.     Sammanfattning : This thesis investigates the phenomenon of the contemporary ‘Medusa tattoo’ that gained traction on the social media platform TikTok in 2019 as a symbol of sexual assault survival, and which has since come to function as an instrument for digital feminist activism. The study aspires to provide a new, previously unexplored link to the long chain of academic research on the figure of Medusa by looking at the emergence, function, and potential of the Medusa tattoo.
