    Sammanfattning : With a feminist post colonial perspective, in assistance of a discourse analysis inspired by Michel Foucault, a critical analysis has been conducted in order to find out the existential premise for statements about sport on an international multi-sport level, especially within the parameters of olympism and the olympic movement. The analysis has been made by critically examining documents like the Olympic Charter and statements from other major international multi-sport competitions and the UN-document on Adopting Resolution on ”Sport as Means to Promote Development.
