  1. 1. Kartläggning av Framtida Elbehov för Skånsk Industri

    Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, Lunds universitet/Miljö- och energisystem

    Författare :Elsa-Justina Fransson; [2023]
    Nyckelord :elektrifiering; industri; Skåne; biogas; vätgas; omställning; elbehov; elprognos; electrification; industry; Scania; Sweden; hydrogen gas; energy transition; electricity prognosis; Technology and Engineering;

    Sammanfattning : Industrin står för en fjärdedel av Sveriges totala utsläpp av växthusgaser. Därför är det av högsta prioritet att branschen ställer om sin produktion från fossil till förnybar. En viktig strategi för att uppå klimatmålen är att elektrifiera produktionen. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Optimization of a method for detection of Legionella pneumophila in water samples

    Kandidat-uppsats, Uppsala universitet/Institutionen för medicinsk cellbiologi

    Författare :Charlotte Wilén; [2021]
    Nyckelord :Filters; filtration speed; Legionnaires’ disease; manifold; water quality;

    Sammanfattning : Legionella pneumophila is a bacterium which can be found in fresh water and causes Legionnaires’ disease, which can be deadly for humans depending on the condition of the infected individual. The bacterium is a gram-negative rod and can withstand severe conditions such as high temperature. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Alternative energy concepts for Swedish wastewater treatment plants to meet demands of a sustainable society

    Sammanfattning : This report travels through multiple disciplines to seek innovative and sustainable energy solutions for wastewater treatment plants. The first subject is a report about increased global temperatures and an over-exploitation of natural resources that threatens ecosystems worldwide. LÄS MER

  4. 4. Identification of waste heat sources in Uppsala - with potential use in Bergsbrunna as a case study

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Energiteknik

    Författare :Malin Frisk; Elise Ramqvist; [2018]
    Nyckelord :;

    Sammanfattning : Reducing energy losses within the energy system is essential for a sustainable future. Waste heat usage could be a part of an increased energy efficiency and a sustainable use of resources. Uppsala Municipality aims to become a climate positive municipality in 2050, with negative net emissions of CO2. LÄS MER

  5. 5. Heat recovery units in ventilation : Investigation of the heat recovery system for LB20 and LB21 in Building 99, University of Gävle

    Magister-uppsats, Högskolan i Gävle/Avdelningen för bygg- energi- och miljöteknik

    Författare :Marta Duarte; [2016]
    Nyckelord :Heating ventilation and air conditioning systems; heat recovery ventilation; run-around heat recovery; temperature ratio; sensible effectiveness;

    Sammanfattning : Heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC) systems are widely distributed over the world due to their capacity to adjust some local climate parameters, like temperature, relative humidity, cleanliness and distribution of the air until the desired levels verified in a hypothetical ideal climate. A review of buildings’ energy usage in developed countries shows that in the present this energy service is responsible for a portion of about 20% of the final energy usage on them, increasing up to 50% in hot-humid countries.
