  1. 1. Exploring Automated Early Problem Identification Based on Diagnostic Trouble Codes

    Master-uppsats, Institutionen för tillämpad informationsteknologi

    Författare :Mathias Forsman; Yihan Yang; [2024-03-05]
    Nyckelord :Automotive Industry; Early Problem Identification; Diagnostic Trouble Code; Case Study; Laboratory Experiment ; Machine Learning; Linear Regression; K-means Clustering;

    Sammanfattning : In the current automotive industry, problem identification is a reactive process. It starts when the customer experiences a vehicle problem and goes to the workshop. Subsequently, all the problem-related data will be collected from the workshop and forwarded to the vehicle manufacturer. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Åtgärder mot förhöjda halter av per- och polyfluorerade alkylsubstanser (PFAS) i dagvatten : Styrande mål och riktvärden

    Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå,

    Författare :Felicia Hagberg; [2024]
    Nyckelord :PFAS; PFCA; PFSA; stormwater; guidelines; foam fractionation; activated carbon; anion exchangers; PFAS; PFCA; PFSA; dagvatten; riktvärden; åtgärder; skumfraktionering; aktivt kol; jonbytare;

    Sammanfattning : Stormwater is a significant transport medium for pollutants to recipients located near cities. Substances commonly found in stormwater include nutrients, metals, organic substances and particles. A group of pollutants detected in stormwater are per- och polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS). 3. 3. An Empirical Survey of Bandits in an Industrial Recommender System Setting

    Master-uppsats, Göteborgs universitet/Institutionen för data- och informationsteknik

    Författare :Tobias Schwarz; Johan Brandby; [2023-09-21]
    Nyckelord :computer science; industrial application; machine learning; reinforcement learning; multi-armed bandits; MAB; contextual multi-armed bandits; survey; batch learning;

    Sammanfattning : In this thesis, the effects of incorporating unstructured data—images in the wild—in contextual multi-armed bandits are investigated, when used within a recommender system setting, which focuses on picture-based content suggestion. The idea is to employ image features, extracted by a pre-trained convolutional neural network, and study the resulting bandit behaviors when including respective excluding this information in the typical context creation, which normally relies on structured data sources—such as metadata. 4. 4. COLLECTIVE ACTION TOWARDS SUSTAINABLE REGIONAL INNOVATION A qualitative study of factors that benefit and/or hinder collaboration within the innovation ecosystem of industrial transformation in North Central Sweden

    Magister-uppsats, Göteborgs universitet/Statsvetenskapliga institutionen

    Författare :Åsa Ängsback; [2023-07-04]
    Nyckelord :Collective Action Theory; Smart Specialisation; Regional innovation; Industrial transformation; Innovation Eco System; North Central Sweden;

    Sammanfattning : The purpose of this study is to address the need for a better understanding of how actors in regional innovation ecosystems work collectively for sustainable regional development and innovation towards the green and digital transition of the European Green Deal. The paper contributes to existing literature about challenges in the implementation of regional innovation (smart specialisation) strategies, by examining factors that have shown to affect collaboration related to large scale problems, e. 5. 5. IMPLICATION FOR THE UNIVERSITY OF GOTHENBURG TO ALIGN WITH THE GOVERNMENT’S TARGET REGARDING CLIMATE NEUTRALITY BY 2045 - Scenarios and Consequences

    Master-uppsats, Göteborgs universitet / Institutionen för biologi och miljövetenskap

    Författare :Nafiseh Kazemi Ashtiani; [2023-06-21]
    Nyckelord :Climate Neutrality; GHG emissions; higher education institutions HEIs ; Net Zero emission; carbon footprint; carbon capture and storage CCS ;

    Sammanfattning : It is widely acknowledged that one of the most significant global challenges of the 21 st century is climate change. In its Fifth Assessment Report (2014), the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) described the present extent of the problem and the hazards involved, citing greenhouse gas emissions from human activities as the primary contributor to global warming since the mid-20th century.
