  1. 1. Analysing the effects of 24/7 Carbon-free Energy procurement strategies on the electricity system : Case Study of commercial and industrial sector in the Netherlands

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för industriell teknik och management (ITM)

    Författare :NINA JABŁOŃSKA; [2023]
    Nyckelord :24 7 Carbon-free Energy; carbon accounting; corporate electricity procurement; Energy Attribute Certificates; hourly matching; the Netherlands.; 24 7 kolfri energi; koldioxidredovisning; företagens elupphandling; energiattributcertifikat; timmatchning; Nederländerna.;

    Sammanfattning : Considering the growing importance of the electricity sector in the worldwide decarbonisation efforts, as well as large volumes of energy consumed by the commercial and industrial (C&I) sector, corporate power procurement is found to be a significant contributor to building a net zero economy. Within this topic, hourly matching of carbon-free electricity supply with demand, or 24/7 Carbon-free Energy (24/7 CFE), is identified as a next-generation power procurement framework, with growing interest from a wide range of stakeholders in the energy sector and benefits backed by robust research evidence. 2. 2. Code Synthesis for Heterogeneous Platforms

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)

    Författare :Zhouxiang Fu; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Code Synthesis; Heterogeneous Platform; Zero-Overhead Topology Infrastructure; Kodsyntes; Heterogen plattform; Zero-Overhead Topologi Infrastruktur;

    Sammanfattning : Heterogeneous platforms, systems with both general-purpose processors and task-specific hardware, are largely used in industry to increase efficiency, but the heterogeneity also increases the difficulty of design and verification. We often need to wait for the completion of all the modules to know whether the functionality of the design is correct or not, which can cause costly and tedious design iteration cycles. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Low-No code Platforms for Predictive Analytics

    Magister-uppsats, Luleå tekniska universitet/Institutionen för system- och rymdteknik

    Författare :Soma Karmakar; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Low code; no code; Predictive analytics; databricks; azure; AWS; Google cloud;

    Sammanfattning : In the data-driven landscape of modern business, predictive analytics plays a pivotal role inanticipating and mitigating customer churn—a critical challenge for organizations. However, thetraditional complexities of machine learning hinder accessibility for decision-makers. LÄS MER

  4. 4. Cloud provider comparison with a growing business perspective

    Kandidat-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS); KTH/Skolan för arkitektur och samhällsbyggnad (ABE)

    Författare :Leonard Lindgren; Maxim Kvasov; [2023]
    Nyckelord :AWS; Heroku; Comparison; Infrastructure as code; Cost; Availability; AWS; Heroku; Jämförelse; Prestanda; Kostnad; Tillgänglighet;

    Sammanfattning : As technology becomes increasingly embedded in our daily lives, the demand for computational power is on the rise. Sometimes, the necessary calculations can be performed within the device itself, but often, they need to be processed remotely. This is where the role of cloud providers comes into play, steadily growing to meet the demand. LÄS MER

  5. 5. DevOps: Assessing the Factors Influencing the Adoption of Infrastructure as Code, and the Selection of Infrastructure as Code Tools : A Case Study with Atlas Copco

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)

    Författare :David Ljunggren; [2023]
    Nyckelord :DevOps; Infrastructure as Code; Automation; DevOps; Infrastruktur som kod; Automation;

    Sammanfattning : This research initiative, which takes the shape of an interpretive qualitative case study, intends to investigate the key considerations for organizations that are to adopt IaC and select an IaC tool. Interviews with operations specialists with varying experience with Infrastructure as Code were conducted for data collection, which was then followed by thematic data analysis. LÄS MER
