  1. 1. Estimating Greenhouse Gas Footprints of Sectors for the Brazilian Economy 1995-2009

    Magister-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Ekonomisk-historiska institutionen

    Författare :Joao Murilo Silva Merico; [2020]
    Nyckelord :Footprint; Sectors; Input-Output analysis; Greenhouse gas emissions.; Business and Economics;

    Sammanfattning : The estimation of a country’s greenhouse gas emissions has appropriately calculated the total footprint of a nation. However, when such estimates are brought down to the level of each economic activity, they do not reflect the total consumption pattern of a sector by not taking intersectoral relationships into account. 2. 2. Ökad effektivitet för återanvändning av stål inom byggbranschen -Hur ökat stålåteranvädning från rivning och produktionsskede kan gynna företag

    M1-uppsats, Örebro universitet/Institutionen för naturvetenskap och teknik; Örebro universitet/Institutionen för naturvetenskap och teknik

    Författare :Mina Luay Hamed; Mina Ismail; [2020]
    Nyckelord :;

    Sammanfattning : Än idag slängs det enorma mängder av stål från byggbranschen även om flera metoder för hantering av avfall har utvecklats inom EU. Det stora problemet som ligger bakom orsakerna av deponier från byggnadsbranschen är att det saknas en specifik person med ansvar över samtliga återanvändningsfrågor, snarare är det flertal personer som ingår i processen. 3. 3. Global Virtual Water Trade, 1990-2015: Assessing Virtual Water Trade Patterns between High Income, Upper-Middle Income, Lower-Middle Income and Low Income Countries

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Ekonomisk-historiska institutionen

    Författare :Jana Lange; [2020]
    Nyckelord :input-output analysis; multiregional input-output tables; Eora26; water use; water footprint; virtual water; global water trade; balance of water embodied in trade; Business and Economics; Social Sciences;

    Sammanfattning : Due to globalization, increasing amounts of water are traded across borders as virtual water embodied in traded products. The thesis traces global water trade patterns at different levels of income between 1990 and 2015 in order to test whether developed countries outsource their water-intensive production to less developed countries increasing global water use in the process. Sammanfattning : In the context of increasing focus on the climate change China is being blamed for its large contribution to global CO2 emissions, which have been produced within China’s territory. 5. 5. Power Plant Operation Optimization Economic dispatch of combined cycle power plants

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för industriell teknik och management (ITM)

    Författare :Stefano Rosso; [2019]
    Nyckelord :;

    Sammanfattning : As electricity production from renewable sources increases, higher flexibility is required by fossil fuel generation to cope with the inherent fluctuations of solar and wind power. This results in shorter operating cycles and steeper ramps for the turbines, and more uncertainty for the operators. LÄS MER
