  1. 1. Using artificial intelligence to improvetime estimation for project management

    Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, Uppsala universitet/Signaler och system

    Författare :Marcus Bonnedahl; [2024]
    Nyckelord :time estimation; ai; machine learning; project management;

    Sammanfattning : Time estimation is an important aspect in project management. Failure to make accurateestimates can lead to large consequences. Despite this, humans tend to make fairly inaccurateestimates when tasked to, often underestimating the time something will take substantially. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Den svenska underrättelseapparaten i kris: En studie av Sveriges underrättelseverksamhet i samband med ubåtsfrågan och tsunamikatastrofen

    Kandidat-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Statsvetenskapliga institutionen

    Författare :Olof Svarén; [2024]
    Nyckelord :Sverige; Underrättelseverksamhet; Kris; Ubåtsfrågan; Tsunamikatastrofen; Law and Political Science;

    Sammanfattning : Drawing upon previous studies in the fields of organisational theory and intelligence failure, this paper examines the efforts of the Swedish intelligence community in connection to two major crises: the submarine issue of the 1980s and early 1990s as well as the tsunami disaster of 2004. Firstly, when studying its performance in both instances, the paper finds that the intelligence community failed to meet the needs of critical decision makers during both crises. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Talangidentifiering – Frånförsta kontakt till signeratkontrakt. : En intervjustudie angåendefotbollstränares och ledares syn påtalangidentifiering inomStockholmsdistrikt.

    Kandidat-uppsats, Umeå universitet/Pedagogiska institutionen

    Författare :Alexander Stillwell; Carl-Johan Söderberg; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Talent identification; talent critera; football; coaches; selection; Talangidentifiering; talangkriterier; fotboll; tränare; selektering;

    Sammanfattning : Talent identification and selection, a constant ongoing process in sports worldwide. It’s one of the keyfactors to how children become professional athletes but can also be a factor to why children quit sports.The purpose of this study was to provide knowledge about what is required for talent identification andselection in youth football. 4. 4. Dynamic Warning Signals and Time Lag Analysis for Seepage Prediction in Hydropower Dams : A Case Study of a Swedish Hydropower Plant

    Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, Uppsala universitet/Datalogi

    Författare :Lovisa Olsson; Julia Hellström; [2023]
    Nyckelord :hydropower; dam safety; dam monitoring; seepage; prediction models; data-driven methods; artificial intelligence; AI;  linear regression; Support Vector Regression; SVR; Long Short-Term Memory; LSTM;

    Sammanfattning : Hydropower is an important energy source since it is fossil-free, renewable, and controllable. Characteristics that become especially important as the reliance on intermittent energy sources increases. However, the dams for the hydropower plants are also associated with large risks as a dam failure could have fatal consequences. LÄS MER

  5. 5. Supervised Algorithm for Predictive Maintenance

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)

    Författare :Haida Lu; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Long short-term memory; Predictive maintenance; Remaining useful life; Embedded Artificial Intelligence; Långt korttidsminne; förebyggande underhåll; återstående livslängd; inbyggd artificiell intelligens;

    Sammanfattning : Predictive maintenance plays a crucial role in preventing unexpected equipment failures and maintaining assets in good operating conditions in various systems. One such scenario where predictive maintenance has been widely used is in battery management systems for electronic vehicles based on lithium batteries, where the risk of failure can be reduced by predicting the remaining useful life of the lithium battery.
