   Sammanfattning : This study aims to expand the understanding of how teachers in upper secondary school talk about their understanding and teaching of reading comprehension and reading strategies. Using semistructured interviews with five active teachers within a Swedish upper secondary school, we can get a better perspective of the tools that students receive during their education and how students are receiving them.    Sammanfattning : This study aims to create a better understanding of how the subject of reading and more specifically reading comprehension is being approached and understood within the upper secondary schools in Sweden and also to find out if anything has changed in recent years. This is done by performing a systematic review of several research studies concerning the subjects of reading, reading comprehension and the use of reading strategies within said upper secondary schools.
