Kandidat-uppsats,Sammanfattning : The world is getting more and more technical, science has transformed everyday life as well as our workplaces, the same goes for archaeology. This paper is analysing how older theories are comparative to studies where DNA and isotope analysis now can give a clearer picture regarding where an individual was raised, how their diet was and what heritage they had. 2.

The bones were subjected to d13C, d15N and d34S analysis; 64 of the analyzed bones met the quality criteria. LÄS MER
5. Investigations of a stalactite from Al Hota cave in Oman and its implications for palaeoclimatic reconstructions
Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Geologiska institutionenSammanfattning : Speleothems and other cave sediments have proven to be valuable tools for climate reconstructions. They allow to reconstruct the changes of temperatures and precipitation over time even in arid areas where other types of sedimentary archives are scarce or even non-existent. LÄS MER
