    Sammanfattning : The public libraries of Sweden are governed as public organizations, that means they obey under municipalities, with their own agendas and policy documents, all while also adhering to the Library Act (SFS 2013:801) of Sweden, a law act that highly empasizes democratic values. The purpose of this bachelor thesis is to discuss and analyze the local municipal library policy documents of Sweden, in an attempt to determine the homogeneity of Swedens public libraries and the goals they strive for, or at least what goals they say they strive for, with emphasis on social sustainability.
