    Sammanfattning : This essay uses discourse analysis to consider the gender and transinclusive readings of biblical passages from Genesis, Deuteronomy and Isaiah that have emerged from contemporary queer theology. The essay presents how queer theology, using classical methods, implies that the purpose of the selected passages is not to exclude transgendered and queer people from theology and church congregations.
