    Sammanfattning : Our purpose in this research was to reveal if there is a link between the debate on climate change and discursive practices of three global corporations: Siemens, Samsung, and Cisco. What are the drivers pushing corporations to engage in environmental actions? How do companies through the use of language represent themselves in particular ways to be perceived as being environmentally responsible? Do companies have any impact on discursive formations regarding the current debate on climate change? We took a critical stand when analyzing empirical data by questioning what is taken for granted.     Sammanfattning : The interest for alternative forest regeneration methods increased significantly during the 1990´s after 50 years dominance of the clear-cutting system (Holgén & Hånell 2000). One reason for this was that clear-cutting was being more and more questioned by different envi-ronmental organizations and because the forest sector for economical reasons wanted to find cheaper ways to regenerate forests.
