  1. 1. Beam Steering Antenna Based on Continuous Transverse Stub Array and Flat Risley Prism Metasurface Lens

    Kandidat-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)

    Författare :Carl Henriksson; Jonathan Fransson; [2023]
    Nyckelord :;

    Sammanfattning : Satellite communication is an integral part of society in this day and era. Due tobandwidth limitations communication frequencies have moved into higher frequencybandwidths. With the advancements in communication comes the demand for more efficientantennas due to the high attenuation of millimeter wavelength frequencies. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Implementation and Comparative Analysis of Head-Related and Binaural Room Impulse Response in a Mid-Side Decomposition

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Teknisk akustik

    Författare :Jonathan Ling; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Master’s Thesis; Spatial audio; Sound Externalisation; Binaural recording; Headphones; Mid-Side Processing; Masteruppsats; Rumsligt Ljud; Ljud-externalisation; Binaural Inspelning; Hörlurar; Mid-Sid processering;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis aimed to clarify the essential factors involved in externalising audio over headphones. Extensive research was conducted, examining binaural cues and the latest advancements in the field. A novel approach was proposed, which applied HRIRs and BRIRs on a Mid-Side decomposition. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Characterization of Pressure and Velocity Fields in Acoustophoresis Using Particle Tracks

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Tillämpad fysik

    Författare :Jonathan Karlsson; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Acoustofluidics; Acoustophoresis; Ultrasonic Standing Waves; Acoustic fields; Particle tracking; Bio marking; Akustofluidik; Akustofores; Stående Ultraljuds Vågor; Akustiska fält; Particle tracking; Bio-markering;

    Sammanfattning : This master’s thesis explores the possibility of calculating and using the pressure andvelocity fields responsible for acoustophoresis. The goal was to use simulated data,similar to two-dimensional particle tracks from a specific microfluidic platform, toestimate the force potential and solve the partial differential equation (PDE) thatgoverns the relationship between the force potential and the acoustic fields.
