    Sammanfattning : Trust-based management has been a subject for discussion in the Swedish government resulting from shortcomings of New Public Management, a method inspired by the KPI-driven (Key Performance Indicator) nature of the private sector, which has turned into a form of micromanagement when applied in the public sector. In order to address this, the Swedish government gave the delegation of trust the assignment to spread knowledge about how the alternative, trust-based governance, can be used in the public sector.
