    Sammanfattning : In this thesis I analyzed three different literary works; A Certain Hunger by Chelsea G. Summers (2020), Bunny by Mona Awad (2019), and Dirty Weekend by Helen Zahavi (1991) through the perspective of the female killer.     Sammanfattning : This essay examines the documentary “Tranståget och Tonårsflickorna”, produced as part of the series Uppdrag granskning, a Swedish television program focused on investigative journalism. This study makes use of a critical discourse methodology with a Foucauldian and feminist starting point, adapted to audiovisual materials with inspiration from Gillian Rose´s methodological discussions.     Sammanfattning : The aim of this thesis is to investigate time and the values connected to different uses of time. What use is legitimate, and what is seen as a waste of time? I will argue that a general notion of time as ‘bad’ or ‘useless’ will place objects, subjects and practices in the marginal, but also establish what should be seen as important or not, which makes us value things into good and bad, effective and ineffective, worthwhile and useless.
