    Sammanfattning : Bakgrund: Med ökande medikalisering har ryggläge blivit den allt mer använda förlossningsställningen vid födandet trots att evidens talar för upprätt förlossningsställning. En upprätt förlossningsställning underlättar förlossningen och ger kortare förlossningsförlopp, mindre risk för instrumentella förlossningar, färre episiotomier och mindre risk för påverkan på fostret hjärtljud.
