  1. 1. Forecasting CO2 Emissions in Sweden with a Bayesian Neural Network

    Kandidat-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för industriell teknik och management (ITM)

    Författare :Kayode Adebowale; Robin Uzel; [2023]
    Nyckelord :;

    Sammanfattning : Carbon dioxide (CO2) is the main constituent of greenhouse gases whose increasing concentrations creates a multitude of different environmental problems. Developing an effective predictive modell for forecasting CO2 is therefore of great importance for future policymakers. LÄS MER

  2. 2. EXAMINING TRANSFORMATIONAL LEARNING FOR SUSTAINABILITY IN EDUCATION - AN AFRICAN PERSPECTIVE

    Magister-uppsats, Blekinge Tekniska Högskola/Institutionen för strategisk hållbar utveckling

    Författare :Promise Fornjum; Kayode John Oyedele; Adeola Oluwakunmi Azu; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Essential Components; Transformational Learning; Education for Sustainable Development;

    Sammanfattning : Considering the rise in global sustainability challenges and most especially in a continent like Africa, these challenges could pose a grave danger to the population owing to the limited commitment towards sustainability. This requires a proactive and systematic approach in order to propagate Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) on the continent. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Examination of Strategic Management Accounting Techniques among SMEs (Perception of the Usefulness, Adoption, and Outcomes) : A multiple Case Study of SMEs in the Food Processing Industry in Nigeria

    Master-uppsats, Linnéuniversitetet/Institutionen för ekonomistyrning och logistik (ELO)

    Nyckelord :Strategic Management Accounting Techniques; Small and Medium Scale Enterprises; Food Processing Industry of Nigeria;

    Sammanfattning : Purpose: This thesis examines the perception of the usefulness of SMAT, its adoption, and expected outcomes among SMEs in the food processing industry of Nigeria. Research Questions: Three research questions have been addressed in this thesis; (1)What is the perception of the usefulness of SMAT among SMEs in the food processing industry in Nigeria? (2) What leads to SMEs adoption of SMAT (antecedents) among SMEs in the food processing industry in Nigeria? and (3) What outcomes (consequences) are believed to result from using SMAT among SMEs in the food processing industry in Nigeria?  Methodology: Qualitative studies are employed to handle empirical data gathering by semi structural interviews from four SMEs in the food processing industry in Nigeria. 5. 5. Modeling Chloride Retention in Boreal Forest Soils - synergy of input treatments and microbial biomass

    Magister-uppsats, Tema vatten i natur och samhälle

    Författare :Stephen Kayode Oni; [2007]
    Nyckelord :Biogeochemical model; Chlorine biogeochemistry; Chlorine cycles; Chloride immobilization; Microbial Biomass; Water residence time;

    Sammanfattning : The hypothetical assumption that chloride is conservative in the soil has been debated for the last decade. The results of the recent years of study in chlorine biogeochemistry show that chloride is non-conservative but rather participates in complex biogeochemical reactions in the soil. LÄS MER
