  1. 6. Interpreting Mental Rotation Performance in Self-Described Aphantasia through Cognitive Penetrability

    Master-uppsats, Umeå universitet/Institutionen för psykologi

    Författare :Dániel Pénzes; [2023]
    Nyckelord :mental imagery debate; cognitive penetrability; aphantasia; VVIQ; OSIQ; mental rotation;

    Sammanfattning : Mental images are unique mental representations and the depictive view in the imagery debate states that mental images have similar spatial structures as their corresponding external object. The propositional view, however, contends that beliefs about the external world influence a mental image – also known as the cognitive penetrability theory –, therefore mental images cannot be described in visual terms. 2. 7. Hur påverkar rotation av revisionspartner kommunikationen av Särskilt Betydelsefulla Områden i revisionsberättelsen? : En kvantitativ studie om samband mellan revisionspartnerrotation och Särskilt Betydelsefulla Områden för bolag på Stockholmsbörsen

    Magister-uppsats, Linköpings universitet/Institutionen för ekonomisk och industriell utveckling; Linköpings universitet/Filosofiska fakulteten

    Författare :Jonathan Claesson; Nataliia Farafonova; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Audit partner rotation; Key Audit Matters; Critical Audit Matters; Revisionspartnerrotation; Särskilt Betydelsefulla Områden;

    Sammanfattning : Bakgrund: I samband med införandet av ISA 701 och EU direktiv 537/2014 år 2016 materialiserades omfattande förändringar för revisionspraxis gällande revisionsberättelsens innehåll och långvariga klientrelationer. Trots att dessa förändringar implementerades samtidigt har vi identifierat utrymme att fördjupa förståelsen på vilket vis ISA 701 och EU direktiv 537/2014 påverkar varandra i hur informationen i revisionsberättelsen påverkas av revisionspartnerrotation. 3. 8. Forming wide-orbit planets via pebble accretion

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Astrofysik; Lunds universitet/Fysiska institutionen

    Författare :Nerea Gurrutxaga; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Planet Formation; Pebble Accretion; Protoplanetary Disk; Wide-Orbit Planet; Physics and Astronomy;

    Sammanfattning : The possibility that detected substructures in protoplanetary disks, such as gaps, rings and cavities, are created by distant protoplanets has prompted an inquiry into the mechanism responsible for their formation. These wide-orbit young bodies are likely to form relatively rapidly in the outer regions of circumstellar disks. LÄS MER

  4. 9. Beyond Traditional Tomography: X-ray Multi-projection Imaging for Additive Manufacturing

    Kandidat-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Synkrotronljusfysik; Lunds universitet/Fysiska institutionen

    Författare :Maria Esther Vilar Alvarez; [2023]
    Nyckelord :X-ray tomography; X-ray multiprojection-imaging; deep learning; additive manufacturing; synchrotron radiation; Physics and Astronomy;

    Sammanfattning : The main aim of this bachelor thesis is to push the limits of 3D X-ray imaging by studying the minimum number of projections required to retrieve high-quality reconstructions for additive manufacturing processes. This project first focuses on understanding how X-ray tomography works, by reconstructing additive manufacturing data already obtained (from PSI, TOMCAT beamline) using two standard reconstruction algorithms, GRIDREC and SIRT. 5. 10. Use of the JET pedestal database to assess the role of ion temperature and plasma rotation on the discrepancy between ideal peeling-ballooning model and experimental data

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)

    Författare :Max Eichenberger; [2022]
    Nyckelord :Nuclear fusion; Joint European Torus JET ; H-mode; pedestal; Edge-localized-modes ELMs ; Peeling-Ballooning; relative shift; ion temperature; plasma rotation; Kärnfusion; JET Joint European Torus ; H-läge; piedestal; ELM Edge LocalizedModes ; peeling-ballooning; relativ förskjutning; jontemperatur; plasmarotation;

    Sammanfattning : Next-generation and present fusion devices such as the Joint European Torus (JET) aim for plasma operations in H-mode, a plasma regime with high confinement and low loss of energy and fuel that results from a barrier for heat and particle transport at the plasma edge, the pedestal. Due to steep gradients of the density, temperature and pressure profiles, the pedestal experiences instabilities called Edge-localized-modes (ELMs) which lead to large fluxes of heat and particles that might damage machine components.
