  1. 6. Antenna as a sensor for sensing available LTE networks

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)

    Författare :Barath Kumar Sathish Kumar; [2022]
    Nyckelord :Radio Frequency energy harvesting; Antenna as a sensor; Long-Term Evolution; Rectifier; Printed Circuit Board; Altium Designer; Matching network; Voltage multiplier; Schottky diodes; Multiband LTE antenna; Ambient energy harvesting; Low power Internet of Things; Wireless power transfer; Radiofrekvensenergiskörd; Antenn som sensor; LTE; Likriktare; Printed Circuit Board; Altium Designer; Matchande nätverk; Spänningsmultiplikator; Schottky-dioder; Multiband LTE-antenn; Omgivande energiskörd; Lågeffekt Internet of Things; Trådlös kraftöverföring;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis primarily deals with the concept of designing an antenna based device to harvest energy from Radio Frequency (RF) and using the harvested energy to sense the available Long Term Evolution (LTE) network in order for the Internet of Things (IoT) devices to connect to the network for the purpose of transmitting and receiving data. Secondarily the importance of this project is targeting how to conserve battery power in an IoT device and extend it’s lifetime. LÄS MER

  2. 7. Collective PV nano-grid for households in Linga Linga : A Minor Field Study in Mozambique

    Kandidat-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för industriell teknik och management (ITM)

    Författare :Wilma Diaz Hjelm; Ellie Olsson; [2022]
    Nyckelord :Collective Energy System; Solar PV system; Electricity Accesses; off-grid; nano-grid; Rural Mozambique; Minor Field Study; Project Vita; Kollektivt Energisystem; Solcellssystem; Tillgång till Elektricitet; Nano-Nät; Moçambiques Landsbygd; Minor Field Study; Project Vita;

    Sammanfattning : About a third of Mozambique’s population has access to electricity, and the same number in rural areas, where most of the population lives, is down to 5 %. Small-sized off-grid solutions are economical alternatives to increase the electricity access rate in rural areas, and solar power is a common energy source due to price and weather conditions. 3. 8. Indoor VLC behaviour  with RGB spectral power distribution using simulation.

    Master-uppsats, Blekinge Tekniska Högskola/Institutionen för datavetenskap

    Författare :Siva Babu Ajjapu; Sasank Reddy Lokireddy; [2021]
    Nyckelord :;

    Sammanfattning : n recent years visible light communication (VLC) has been one of the technologies overgrowing in this competitive world and breaking through the wireless transmission of future mobile communications. This VLC replaces radio frequency (RF), which has several important features like large bandwidth, low cost, unlicensed spectrum. LÄS MER

  4. 9. Investigation of sex-based differences in responses to artificial light of the greater waxmoth (Galleria mellonella)

    Magister-uppsats, Högskolan i Halmstad/Akademin för företagande, innovation och hållbarhet

    Författare :Prasoon Singh; [2021]
    Nyckelord :Light pollution; Galleria mellonella; warm-white light; moths behaviour; attraction;

    Sammanfattning : Artificial light at night (ALAN) is becoming a greater threat to nocturnal species. Aside from the overall increase in light output, replacing outdated monochromatic street lighting with light-emitting diode (LED) lights with a broad emission spectrum could raise this issue more. 5. 10. Impact of different light sources on the responses of moth

    Magister-uppsats, Högskolan i Halmstad

    Författare :Yanhe Zhou; [2021]
    Nyckelord :Artificial light at night ALAN ; Greater wax moth; Light Attraction; light emitting diodes; LED; Galleria mellonella;

    Sammanfattning : In recent decades, the negative effects of artificial light at night on natural ecosystems have attracted the attention of ecologists. Studies have shown that artificial light at night leads to a considerable reduction in insects and has a worrying impact on terrestrial ecosystems, including nocturnal insects (e.g. Lepidoptera) such as moths.
