    Sammanfattning : In this bachelor thesis we investigate the gauge sector of a specific composite two-Higgs doublet model, allowing more freedom for the gauge couplings and compositeness scales. From the underlying parameters we generate model realisations with the correct top mass, Higgs mass and electroweak vacuum expectation value, that satisfy theoretical constraints such as unitarity and perturbativity.     Sammanfattning : This feasibility study concerns the implementation and analysis of a Higgs pair decaying to two W bosons, with hadronic final states, and to two τ-leptons, one with a leptonic and one with a hadronic final state, hh→ WhadWhad τlepτhad, in the ATLAS detector at the CERN Large Hadron Collider, by adapting the ``CxAOD framework'' software analysis code of the hh→ bbττ analysis. The purpose is to compare the sensitivity of this final state with other di-Higgs analyses in the ATLAS collaboration. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : There are four Period Luminosity relations from three sources, [3, 5, 9, 11], that are compared for theiraccuracy in calculating distances and to see how much uncertainty has to be considered when calculatingother distances based on these. Here, the relations are compared by using each to calculate and compare thedistances of the stars: BK Vir, L2 Pup, R Hor, R Hya, R Lep, and RR Aql; along with using data from AAVSOand SIMBAD in the calculations.
