   Sammanfattning : This quantitative content analysis, with a theoretical framework based on framing theory and Hallin’s Spheres, studies how Swedish newspapers reported on a debate surrounding Drag Story Hour (DSH) and the Sweden Democrats (SD) wanting to stop it, during a one-year period. This study analyzes news articles, as well as opinion-based publications in newspapers, to study the representation of different actors and their opinions, as well as the authors’ opinions and framing of DSH and SD’s aim to stop it.    Sammanfattning : From the perspective of discourse analysis, this paper analyzes how homosexuals are portrayed in the Swedish daily press during the year of 1944 when homosexuality became legal. This is done by qualitatively analyzing 12 news articles from three major national Swedish newspapers; Svenska Dagbladet, Dagens Nyheter and Aftonbladet. LÄS MER

   Sammanfattning : This thesis aims to generate a model to answer why there is a notable gap in legislative action with regards to expanding and modernizing LGBTQIA+ rights between Sweden and Denmark and the other Nordic countries, groups described by Jens Rydström as the Progressive Core and Conservative Periphery respectively.
