16. Reducerade fungiciddoser vid bekämpning av potatismögel - vilka blir följderna?
Magister-uppsats, SLU/Dept. of Forest Mycology and Plant PathologySammanfattning : Potato late blight, caused by the oomycete Phytophthora infestans, is the most devastating crop disease in potato crop globally and annually cost growers 5 billion USD in losses and control measures. Large quantities of fungicides are used for the control of potato late blight in order to avoid yield loss and to limit the risk of tuber blight. LÄS MER
17. Genotypic and phenotypic variation of Phytopthora infestans on potato in the two Swedish regions Bjäre and Östergötland in 2015
Master-uppsats, SLU/Dept. of Forest Mycology and Plant PathologySammanfattning : Potato late blight, caused by the oomycete Phytophthora infestans, is a very im-portant disease on potato, and one of the most devastating plant diseases in agri-culture worldwide. Despite the small area of potato in comparison with other cul-tivated crops, 40 % of the total use of fungicides in Sweden is used on potato. LÄS MER
18. Phycoremediation of pesticides using microalgae
Master-uppsats, SLU/Dept. of Biosystems and Technology (from 130101)Sammanfattning : Every year, pesticides are found in surface and ground waters in Sweden. Fungicides are in common usage and applied in high amounts against potato late blight. The present thesis examined the possible removal of four fungicides (metalaxyl, cyprodinil, propamocarb and mandipropamid) from water using the microalgae Chlorella vulgaris. LÄS MER
20. Evaluation of Integrated Pest Management (IPM) adoption in potato production using the Sustainable Livelihoods Approach : a qualitative study from central Ecuador
Master-uppsats, SLU/Dept. of People and SocietySammanfattning : Potato production and consumption play a big role in the central highlands of Ecuador. Two main biotic constraints hinder the development of potato crops on the field: the Late Blight (Phytophtora infestans) and the Andean potato Weevil (Premnotrypes vorax). LÄS MER
