  1. 1. Den artificiella bibliotekarien : En etnografisk studie om hur ChatGPT kan användas vid referenstransaktioner

    Kandidat-uppsats, Umeå universitet/Sociologiska institutionen

    Författare :Cecilia Ramström; [2024]
    Nyckelord :Library and Information science; Reference transactions; Information needs; Ethnography; Artificial intelligence; ChatGPT; GPT-3.5;

    Sammanfattning : This ethnographic study investigates how ChatGPT meets information needs, andthe difference in functional outcomes when using ChatGPT in a reference transaction compared to a librarian. The theoretical starting point is Taylor's theories on information needs and filters, commands and questions. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Analyzing the Influence of Synthetic andAugmented Data on Segmentation Model

    Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, Luleå tekniska universitet/Institutionen för system- och rymdteknik

    Författare :Alex Peschel; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Artificial Intelligence; Microorganisms; Segmentation; Synthesizing; Augmentation;

    Sammanfattning : The field of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has experienced unprecedented growth in recent years, thanks to the numerous applications related to speech recognition, natural language processing, and computer vision. However, one of the challenges facing AI is the requirement for large amounts of energy, time, and data to be effective and accurate. LÄS MER

  3. 3. EcoBot : study design and development of a persuasive FSM-free Chatbot for energy saving

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)

    Författare :Francesco Milano; [2023]
    Nyckelord :chatbot; context management; persuasive strategies; domestic energy saving; smart appliances; sustainability.; chatbot; kontexthantering; övertygande strategier; hushållsenergibesparing; smarta apparater; hållbarhet;

    Sammanfattning : This study presents the development and evaluation of a conversational agent, EcoBot, designed to inform users about their energy habits and persuade them to save more energy when at home, to help fight climate change and energy waste. To reach this goal, three persuasion strategies were first identified: Feedback, to give users personalized suggestions based on their habits, Goal Setting, to set and track consumption goals for the user’s domestic appliances, and Social Comparison, to compare the user’s consumption with that of others. 4. 4. Multiple-Emitter Super-resolution Imaging using the Alternating Descent Conditional Gradient Method

    Kandidat-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Beräkningsbiologi och biologisk fysik - Genomgår omorganisation; Lunds universitet/Institutionen för astronomi och teoretisk fysik - Genomgår omorganisation

    Författare :Dolev Illouz; [2023]
    Nyckelord :super-resolution; alternating descent conditional gradient method; ADCG; multiple-emitter localization; nanoscale imaging; single molecule tracking; Physics and Astronomy;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis examines the state-of-the-art 2D super-resolution technique alternating descent conditional gradient (ADCG) method's ability to accurately localize fluorophores in diffraction-limited single molecule images (SMI) and analyze the impact of pre-processing and post-processing modules on ADCG's fluorophore localization. A synthetic dataset obtained from the 2013 Grand Challenge localization microscopy and a temporally linked dataset obtained from an unpublished set of Optical DNA mapping experiments performed by Jonathan Jeffet at the NanoBioPhotonix Lab at Tel-Aviv University were initially segmented to extract their noise parameters. 5. 5. Ett inverterat nöjesfält : kunskap, upplevelse och vara genom Google Maps användarrecensioner

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Avdelningen för ABM, digitala kulturer samt förlags- och bokmarknadskunskap

    Författare :Andreas Thörn; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Commodification; critical theory; Walter Benjamin; experience; erlebnis; erfahrung; Google Maps; user reviews; Zlatan Court; information science; duration; duration object; objectification; flows; rating; experience economy; Henri Bergson; Marshall McLuhan; UGC; library; Cultural Sciences;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis attempts to show tangible ways in which commodification of experience expands into areas outside of direct commercial activity, in contemporary mind and society. The user reviews of Google Maps (URGM) regarding places that don't offer sales of goods and services are being studied empirically, through qualitative text analysis. LÄS MER
