   Sammanfattning : This study examines how the French bestselling detective novel Total Khéops (1995) by Jean-Claude Izzo relates to three literary sub-genres of detective fiction to which it mainly has been associated since it first was published: roman noir français (French roman noir), polar marseillais and Mediterranean noir. By assembling the most significant criterions of these sub-genres and analyzing their presence in Total Khéops, or its architextuality within the crime novel, this approach aims to reveal in what sub-genre this novel mainly should be categorized.    Sammanfattning : This thesis aims to describe the genre of library podcasts that have emerged in Sweden since 2013.Through the overall design of a comparative multiple case study, the two pioneering examples of Cirkelpodden and Bibliotekspodden Solen are being described and compared, in order to contribute to a better understanding of what these radio productions consist of, on what reasons they have been established and finally what this practice based on more explicit journalistic working methods might implicate for the profession of the public librarian.
