  1. 1. Creation of a Virtual Reality Experience for the Virtual Conservation of The Flamman Theater Using Unreal Engine 4

    Master-uppsats, Göteborgs universitet/Institutionen för data- och informationsteknik

    Författare :Fausto Zamora Arias; [2023-10-25]
    Nyckelord :virtual reality; Oculus Quest 2; preserving cultural heritage; Unreal Engine 4; game design and development;

    Sammanfattning : The Flamman Theater identity was successfully digitally preserved for the cultural heritage of Gothenburg by creating a video game, while tested with pandemic restrictions. On the technical side, this project combines virtual reality, artificial intelligence and game mechanics to create an immersive atmosphere, inviting people to watch movies inside as the original theater was intended. 2. 2. Acoustic perception of Metal live performance in a multipurpose hall (Black Box) : A study into the influence of the acoustical quality of a Black Box regarding Metal live performance.

    Kandidat-uppsats, Luleå tekniska universitet/Institutionen för ekonomi, teknik, konst och samhälle

    Författare :Sam Soliman; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Metal; room acoustics; influence; live performance; parameters; acoustics;

    Sammanfattning : A study has been implemented regarding the acoustical characteristics of a black box and its influence on rock and metal music live performance. Objective acoustical measurements have been made as well as a subjective evaluation in form of a listening test. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Tyst stad : En studie om god ljudmiljö och blandstad vid planeringen av högljudda kulturaktiviteter

    Master-uppsats, Blekinge Tekniska Högskola/Institutionen för fysisk planering

    Författare :Martin Wallenius Kral; [2023]
    Nyckelord :soundscape; environmental noise; figure-ground; hi-fi; lo-fi; ljud; stadsplanering; planering; fysisk planering; buller; blandstad; kulturaktiviteter;

    Sammanfattning : I Stockholm pratades det om klubbdöden under 2019 eftersom flera högljudda kulturaktiviteter behövt stänga i innerstaden. Den huvudsakliga anledningen var konflikter mellan boende och kulturaktiviteter om bullerstörningar som naturligt uppstår när människor ska bo, verka och leva i en tät blandstadsmiljö. LÄS MER

  4. 4. Digital Front End Algorithms for Sub-Band Full Duplex

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Institutionen för elektro- och informationsteknik

    Författare :Midhat Rizvi; Khaled Al-Khateeb; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Adjacent Channel Leakage Ratio; Bit Error Rate; Clipping and Filtering; Crest Factor Reduction; Digital front end; Digital Pre-Distortion Error Vector Magnitude; Frequency Division Duplex; Power Amplifier; Peak to Average Power Ratio; Peak Cancellation Crest Factor Reduction; Sub Band Full Duplex; Self-Interference Cancellation; Signal-to-Interference Noise Ratio; Signal-to-Noise Ratio; Turbo Clipping; Time Division Duplex; Technology and Engineering;

    Sammanfattning : Sub-band full duplex is a new communication scheme technology, where a single frequency band is partitioned into sub-bands for downlink (DL) and up-link(UL) transmissions, and both can take place simultaneously. The idea behind the sub-band full duplex development is to improve the throughput, and coverage and reduce the latency of the UL communication by allowing the UL reception during the DL transmission. 5. 5. Spectromorphological Reductions : Exploring and developing approaches for sound-based notation of live electronics

    Master-uppsats, Luleå tekniska universitet/Musik, medier och teater

    Författare :Hans Lennart Jonsäll; [2023]
    Nyckelord :live electronics; electronic music; electroacoustic music; notation; spectromorphology; typo-morphology; Sound Notation; digital musical instruments.;

    Sammanfattning : In this master’s thesis, a sound-based notation system is explored and developed in the composition and performance of a musical work for live electronics. My approach builds on existing systems for electroacoustic music analysis, most notably Dennis Smalley’s (1997) theory of spectromorphology and the symbolic language of Lasse Thoresen & Andreas Hedman (2007) based on Pierre Schaeffer’s typo-morphology, as well as Mattias Sköld’s (2023) adaptation of this system for composition and transcription (Sound Notation).
