  1. 1. Hosting Capacity Methods Considering Complementarity between Solar and Wind Power : A Case Study on a Swedish Regional Grid

    Master-uppsats, Linköpings universitet/Energisystem

    Författare :Emma Andersson; Maja Abrahamsson Bolstad; [2023]
    Nyckelord :hosting capacity; hosting capacity methods; renewable power generation; power grid; power system analysis; complementarity; solar power; wind power; deterministic method; time series method;

    Sammanfattning : The demand for electrical power is growing due to factors such as population growth, urbanisation, and the transition from fossil fuels to renewable energy sources. To be able to keep up with the changes in electricity demand, the Swedish power grid must connect more renewable power generation, but also  increase its transmission capacity. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Framtidens lågspänningsnät : Analys av utmaningar och lösningar med ny teknik i nätet

    Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, Uppsala universitet/Elektricitetslära

    Författare :Oscar Dellham; [2023]
    Nyckelord :lågspänningsnät; flexibilitetstjänster; nätförstärkning; elbilsladdare; solceller; lastprognostisering;

    Sammanfattning : With an ever growing demand for electricity, it is tough to know which challenges will be the most pressing and which solutions will be appropriate to implement in different cases. This thesis utilizes simulations of three low voltage grids to see which part of the grid is most vulnerable, to which extent grid reinforcement is needed to solve voltage and load problems, and what amount of demand flexibility services would be an adequate substitute to grid reinforcement. Sammanfattning : Access to energy is an important part in the development of most countries and societies, linked to both social and economic growth. Nevertheless, 70% of the population in sub-Saharan Africa does not have access to electricity, which brings consequences to several of these areas. LÄS MER
