  1. 1. UNDER TVÅ MÅNAR En semantisk kartläggning av måne som ett kigo

    Kandidat-uppsats, Göteborgs universitet/Institutionen för språk och litteraturer

    Författare :Oscar Callenberg; [2024-02-07]
    Nyckelord :japanska; haiku; kigo; saijiki; semantisk kunskap; semantiska fält; japanese; semantic knowledge; semantic fields;

    Sammanfattning : This essay will examine the seasonal word known as kigo 季語 which mainly appears in the japanese haiku. The purpose is to offer a suggestion of how a systematic explanation of the semantic peculiarities of kigo could be conducted. The object of this semantic analysis is the kigo tsuki 月 (moon). 2. 2. Antarctic Subglacial Lakes as Environmental Analogues for Possible Hidden Biospheres on the Moons Europa and Enceladus

    Master-uppsats, Uppsala universitet/Institutionen för geovetenskaper

    Författare :Jonas Fahlman; [2023]
    Nyckelord :astrobiology; icy moons; subglacial lakes; ice dynamics; thermal regimes; extremophiles; anthropogenic contamination; astrobiologi; ismånar; subglaciala sjöar; is-dynamik; termiska regimer; extremofiler; antropologisk kontaminering;

    Sammanfattning : The evolving science of astrobiology for the search for life beyond Earth has put focus on the possibility of subsurface bodies of liquid water beneath the surface of icy moons within our Solar System. Specifically, the Jovian moon of Europa and the Saturnian moon of Enceladus show telling characteristics of endogenous heating through their complex tidal resonances with their parent planets – suggesting the presence of oceans of liquid water and therefore a potential for astrobiology. 3. 3. A quantitative analysis of plume gas distributions from different detection studies on Europa

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)

    Författare :Anujan Ranganathan; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Europa; Water; Plume distribution; Surface Density; Column Density; Total number of molecules; Europa; Vatten; Plym Distribution; Ytdensitet; Kolumndensitet; Total mängd molekyler;

    Sammanfattning : The search for water has been vital in our solar system as water indicates a potential for life. The search has been extended to satellites orbiting the outer planets. It has already been proven that water exists on Saturn’s moon, Enceladus, where the spacecraft Cassini did a flyby through a water plume. LÄS MER

  4. 4. James Webb Space Telescope Observations of Jupiter’s Moon Europa

    Kandidat-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)

    Författare :Aulon Nura; Isac Engblom; [2023]
    Nyckelord :;

    Sammanfattning : The creation of life has puzzled humanity since the dawn of time. With the launch of thecutting-edge James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) at last year's closing, the next step in humanity'ssearch for life has been taken. LÄS MER

  5. 5. Deriving Spectral Maps from JWST Data : A Study of Enceladus’ Plumes

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)

    Författare :Stephan Weissenböck; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Data Analysis; Enceladus; Plumes; Atmosphere; JWST; NIRSpec; IFU; Infrared spectroscopy; Dataanalys; Enceladus; plym; atmosfär; JWST; NIRSpec; IFU; infraröd spektroskopi;

    Sammanfattning : This study investigates the presence of water vapor plumes in the region south of Enceladus, a moon in the Saturnian system, through observations conducted by the James Webb Space Telescope. Enceladus is believed to harbor a subsurface ocean or localized water reservoir that gives rise to water geysers, expelling vapor into its tenuous atmosphere and outer space. LÄS MER
