    Sammanfattning : Malmö, once flourished with industries, has been transitioning since its decline in the 1980s. The redevelopment of Nyhamnen, one of the post-industrial areas, started in 2018 to accommodate the expected increasing population until 2050.     Sammanfattning : The dispersion of contaminants deriving from landfills poses a risk to the surrounding environment and human health. Old landfills are treated with extra precaution, due to their poorer construction, less stringent operation and lack information regarding the waste content.
