  1. 1. Hyperspectral and multispectral satellite data analysis of nitrogen in grazed and ungrazed tundra in Långfjället, Sweden

    Master-uppsats, Göteborgs universitet/Institutionen för geovetenskaper

    Författare :Emma Dahlstedt; [2023-08-18]
    Nyckelord :Hyperspectral imaging; Imaging spectroscopy; Nitrogen; Reindeer; Herbivory; Tundra; Grazing;

    Sammanfattning : Reindeer are a keystone species in the circumpolar north, where they hold great cultural and ecological importance. Continued climate change threatens the long-term sustainability of reindeer husbandry. Reindeer can affect the tundra landscape, influencing the soil nutrient cycling, including the soil nitrogen availability. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Modeling Melodic Accents in Jazz Solos

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)

    Författare :Misael Berrios Salas; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Accents; Jazz Solo; Support Vector Regression SVR ; eXtreme Gradient Boosting XGBoost ; Multiple Linear Regression MLR ; Dynamic; Accenter; Jazz Solos; Support Vector Regression SVR ; eXtreme Gradient Boosting XGBoost ; Multiple Linear Regression MLR ; Dynamisk;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis looks at how accurately one can model accents in jazz solos, more specifically the sound level. Further understanding the structure of jazz solos can give a way of pedagogically presenting differences within music styles and even between performers. Some studies have tried to model perceived accents in different music styles. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Sambandet mellan företagsprestation och kärnkompetens : En kvantitativ studie om kompetensers vidare effekt inom revisionsbranschen

    Kandidat-uppsats, Södertörns högskola/Företagsekonomi

    Författare :Joseph Haydo; Linnea Johansson; [2022]
    Nyckelord :Firm performance; profitability; competence; core competence; competence development; auditing industry; Företagsprestation; lönsamhet; kompetens; kärnkompetens; kompetensutveckling; revisionsbranschen;

    Sammanfattning : Bakgrund: För att företag ska överleva på lång sikt är det nödvändigt att de är lönsamma. Ett sätt för företag att utvecklas är genom att inkorporera kärnkompetens som strategi iföretaget och flertalet tidigare studier har bekräftat att kärnkompetens har en positiv påverkanpå lönsamhet. 4. 4. Evaluation of Machine Learning Methods for Time Series Forecasting on E-commerce Data

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Matematisk statistik

    Författare :Peter Abrahamsson; Niklas Ahlqvist; [2022]
    Nyckelord :Thesis; Time Series; Machine Learning; E-commerce; Demand Forecasting; Multiple Linear Regression; SARIMAX; XGBoost; LSTM; Model Evaluation; Examensarbete; tidsserier; maskininlärning; e-handel; efterfrågeprognoser; multipel linjär regression; SARIMAX; XGBoost; LSTM; modellutvärdering;

    Sammanfattning : Within demand forecasting, and specifically within the field of e-commerce, the provided data often contains erratic behaviours which are difficult to explain. This induces contradictions to the common assumptions within classical approaches for time series analysis. Yet, classical and naive approaches are still commonly used. LÄS MER

  5. 5. An analysis of the relationships between urban green space and public health : A combination of GIS-based analysis and regression models

    Master-uppsats, Linköpings universitet/Institutionen för tema

    Författare :Lingzi Liu; [2022]
    Nyckelord :GIS; Multiple linear regression; Public health; Urban green space; Urban planning;

    Sammanfattning : Public health is an essential urban issue attracting the increasing attention of scholars and decision-makers while urban planning is an important mechanism to promote health since mounting evidence has shown the planning elements, such as urban green spaces (UGS), could have a positive influence. In previous literature, the studies concerning the impacts of UGSs can be divided into two aspects: the first is to reveal the relationships between UGSs and health using statistical models based on self-reported data, while the second is to take their relationships as presumption and visualize the spatial distributions of UGSs in a geographical information system (GIS) to indicate the existence of health inequalities.
