   Sammanfattning : Violence against women is an issue affecting women worldwide. Due to the high rates of women exposed to intimate partner violence, it is nearly impossible not to meet them in everyday nursing practice.    Sammanfattning : The purpose of this qualitative analysis was to research if and how gender is portrayed in picture books for children in Swedish preschools. Based on Hirdman’s gender system theory(1988, 2001) I analyzed the book characters in text and illustrations, to see if gender contracts between the sexes are visible, and what dichotomies might be challenged.    Sammanfattning : With the implementation of the 2011 guidance documents (Lgr11), the aesthetic perspective was strengthened in the Swedish secondary school, according to Marie-Louise Hansson Stenhammar (2015: 60). The purpose of this thesis is to examine whether there are differences in the extent to which some teachers use learning through aesthetic experience, and to identify possible advantages and obstacles in this respect.
