    Sammanfattning : For many of us living in the West, wildlife films may be the primary source to watch and learn about the lives of animals like lions, monkeys, and other” far of reach” animals. But how much of what we see in wildlife films is really true? Does wildlife film fall under documentary or does it fall under the category fiction? And how is the answer to this question relevant for gender studies as a scientific field?
