  1. 1. Capacity Mechanism Simulator in the Swedish Electricity Market

    Kandidat-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)

    Författare :Rosalie Ponce de Leon; [2023]
    Nyckelord :;

    Sammanfattning : A short history of the Swedish electricity market has been portrayed showing the process of a regulatedmarket to how the deregulation of the electricity market has evolved. The model used in this paper is an adaptation ofthe article “Transmission and generation investment in electricity markets: The effects of market splitting and networkfee regimes,” by Grim, Martin, Schmidt, Weibelzahl, and Zött for the current Swedish regional market showing thecost of investment per regional zone. 2. 2. Towards a high resolution view of infrared line formation

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Astronomi - Genomgår omorganisation

    Författare :Martin Schmidt Montelius; [2021]
    Nyckelord :Spectroscopy; Near infrared; K giants; Galactic archeaology; Galactic chemical evolution; Abundances; Milky Way; Physics and Astronomy;

    Sammanfattning : Observing in the infrared has many benefits, such as seeing through the interstellar dust in the galaxy, easier use of adaptive optics, and better flux ratios for direct observations of exoplanets. Before the infrared spectral range can be utilised for highly accurate stellar spectroscopy there is a need for a better understanding of both stellar modelling and the atomic physics that go into forming spectral lines. 3. 3. Dynamics of a high-eccentricity planet in a large planetesimal disc

    Kandidat-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Astronomi - Genomgår omorganisation

    Författare :Martin Schmidt Montelius; [2019]
    Nyckelord :Physics and Astronomy;

    Sammanfattning : Clustering of orbital characteristics for distant Solar System objects has been proposed to indicate the presence of a ninth planet. Simulations show that the planets orbit would have to have a mass of 5–10 Solar masses, a semi-major axis of 400–800 AU, an eccentricity of 0.2–0.5 and an inclination of 15–25°. LÄS MER

  4. 4. EU Migration Policy Changes in Times of Crisis: Discourses surrounding EU migration policies during the 'refugee crisis' - A discursive institutionalist analysis

    Master-uppsats, Malmö högskola/Fakulteten för kultur och samhälle (KS)

    Författare :Moa Nalepa; [2017]
    Nyckelord :European Union; Discursive Institutionalism; Refugee; Migration; Crisis; Crisification of Migration; Migration Policies; Securitisation of Migration; Solidarity; EU imaginary;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis examines the migration policy changes that were adopted by the European Union during the so called ‘refugee crisis’ 2014-2016 and problematises the discourses that were deployed by EU policy makers. It builds the method and theoretical framework around Vivien Schmidt’s discursive institutionalism, and complements it with constructivist conceptual theories around discourses that are identified through the researched empirical material.
